The heart of every tube amplifier is the vacuum tube
also known as a valve in England where it was invented.
The tubes of every amplifier should be periodically replaced and the bias voltage adjusted.
If you notice that your amp does not have the punch, the clarity and the sustain
it used to have or never did, new tubes and biasing will make it like a new amp.
