This guitar had a problem with the headstock. The finish was lifting off. Apparently it is a common problem. The finish was sanded down and black lacquer was applied, followed by clear lacquer. The rest of the guitar was sanded and given a final coat to fill any dents and dings. Finally, it was sanded with medium-fine sandpaper.
